Our next big stop was Boston, MA for a Camp Vega mini-reunion over Labor Day weekend. We stayed with our good friends Claire and Liz who live in Boston. They welcomed 12, yes 12 of us to their apartment for a night of fun in Boston. We hit the town as Claire and Liz showed us some of their favorite late night establishments. The night was filled with drinks, laughter and lots of dancing. We all got cosy that night and had one big Vega sleepover in Claire and Liz’s two bedroom apartment. Most of us managed to snag a bed except for Quito and Chi Chi who found the kitchen floor to be quite comfortable. The next morning, or shall I say afternoon, we made our way out of the apartment eventually to have brunch at what has now become “the place we will always come to have brunch every time we have a Vega reunion in Boston…and we have to sit at the same table every time and not use our cell phones” Later that afternoon, after much protest from Claire and Liz we left Boston and headed on to Newport, RI.
