Blue Hill Fair & Phillips Lake, ME. 1 Sep 2012

After leaving Acadia we drove to Blue Hill to check out the fair that they wouldn’t stop talking about on the radio. It turned out to be pretty fun. We lost $2 gambling at the Lions Club tent, saw and awesome motorcross exhibition and ate a sub as long as my arm.

We then drove to Tyler’s camp on beautiful Phillips Lake, about 45 minutes away. We witnessed the sunset from nearby Sunset Rock and spent the night on the sleeping porch on the top level of the old cabin (also named the Bee Hive) and his parents were most gracious hosts as always.
